Furlan Marri watches, model by model

The retired mecaquartz, kept in the table because its page still shows a price: $570 to US buyers, CHF 460 excluding tax, marked Retired on 20 September 2026. Reference 1041-A, a Seiko VK64 in a 38 mm steel case, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 11.5 mm thick, 50 m, sapphire with AR and anti-fingerprint coatings. The current equivalent is the Rosso Grigio at $725, the same case and movement with a different dial and 0.5 mm more on the sheet, so the $155 is the gap between the old list and the new. Dan Henry's 1964 Gran Turismo is $310 on a VK63 at 38 mm and 44.7 mm, if the retired price was the attraction.

The entry tier, and the watch to buy if the case is the point: 38 mm, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 12 mm thick with the crystal, 50 m, 316L with round tasti tondi pushers, on a Seiko VK64 mecaquartz, so battery timekeeping under a mechanical chronograph module. $725 to US buyers, CHF 585 excluding tax at home; Ardesia Blu, Nero Sabbia and Castagna are the same price. Against the Cornes de Vache at $1,550 the $825 buys a Swiss automatic in a case 0.5 mm smaller and 1.5 mm thinner. A Vaer RS1 is $279 on a VK63; a Unimatic U3-AEG is $840 on the same VK64 at 40 mm and 51 mm.

The same chronograph in 4N rose gold PVD at the same $725: 38 mm, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 12 mm thick and 11.5 mm without the crystal, 50 m, VK64, a decagonal screwed caseback, beige and brown leather on 20/16 mm quick-release. The PVD adds nothing to the price, which is not usual, and it is the only gold-toned case in the range. At 12 mm the mecaquartz cases are 1.5 mm thicker than a Cornes de Vache and 3.05 mm thicker than a Disco Volante. Brew's Super Metric is $475 on a VK68 at 36 mm if 38 mm is too much. Buy this for the colour; the movement is the same Seiko throughout.

The first Swiss automatic in the range at $1,550, and 'only a few left' on the check date: a La Joux-Perret G100 with 68 hours, 37.5 mm, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 10.5 mm thick, 50 m, sapphire front and back, on sand and light blue leather. CHF 1,250 excluding tax, and 1.5 mm thinner than the mecaquartz chronographs on the same 46 mm footprint. At the money a Baltic Prismic is $1,207.50 on a Peseux 7001 at 36 mm and a Christopher Ward Twelve 38 is $1,495 on a Sellita SW200-1 with 100 m; the Furlan Marri's answer is the G100's 68 hours and the sector dial. Fears puts the same G100 in the Brunswick 40 at $3,500.

The same watch with a salmon sector dial, gunmetal PVD indexes and hands, and green Italian and black French straps: $1,550, G100, 37.5 mm, 46 mm, 10.5 mm, 50 m. Out of stock on 19 September 2026 with the restock stated as 'early November'. Nothing separates it from the Blue Sector but the dial and the metal on the hands, so it is a colour choice, and on the check date the Blue could be bought and the Salmon could not. Serica's 1174 Parade at $1,760 is the 35 mm alternative at 8.2 mm on a COSC Soprod, $210 more and 2.3 mm thinner; the Furlan Marri is the larger dial and the longer reserve.

The third Cornes de Vache at $1,550, with blued steel hands and applied Breguet indexes on a white sector dial, two leather straps in blue and black on 20/16 mm quick-release, and the same G100 at 24 jewels and 68 hours: 37.5 mm, 46 mm, 10.5 mm, 50 m, sapphire with AR and anti-fingerprint coatings front and back. 'Only a few left' on the check date. It is the one to pick over the Blue if the hands matter, since blued steel is a finish neither sibling has. Farer's Solander Lissom is $1,295 at 38 mm and 7.95 mm on a La Joux-Perret D100 hand-wound, 2.55 mm thinner and $255 less; the Furlan Marri is the automatic.

The Swiss-made tier, retired at $3,100, CHF 2,500 excluding tax: a Peseux 7001 hand-wound with 42 hours and 24 jewels, bridges hand-finished in Geneva, in a 38 mm case 8.95 mm thick with the crystal and 8.10 mm without, 50 m, sapphire front and back, BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the dial inserts and hands, sold with blue and white leather and a steel mesh bracelet. The page publishes no lug-to-lug. On the check date the only Disco Volante in stock was the Disco Onyx Diamonds at CHF 3,500. Seiko's King Seiko SJE109 is the same $3,100 at 39.4 mm and 9.9 mm on an automatic; Zelos's Comet 39 Meteorite is $2,099 on the same Peseux 7001 at 9.4 mm.

The second retired Disco Volante at $3,100: the same Peseux 7001 in the same 38 mm case, 8.95 mm with the glass and 8.10 mm without, 50 m, 20 mm lug, sapphire front and back with AR and anti-fingerprint coatings. The page showed CHF 2,500 excluding tax and Retired on 20 September 2026. Against the Disco Celeste the sheet differs only in the dial and the strap set; movement and price are identical. These two rows are the whole of the Swiss-made Furlan Marri, and both are gone. NOMOS puts an in-house hand-wound in the Tangente 35 at $2,330 and 6.2 mm; Baltic's Prismic is $1,207.50 on the same 7001 at 36 mm.
