Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer or maker pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra and the price you pay is the price on their site.

Every buy button on the site goes through a redirect at /go/. Where we belong to a program for that maker or retailer, the redirect carries our tracking tag. Where we do not, it is a plain link to the maker's product page, and no one pays us anything. The programs we belong to are listed below and this page is updated when that changes.

Programs

Checked 19 September 2026. None of the twelve microbrands featured in the brand guides (Vaer, Traska, Lorier, Formex, Unimatic, Serica, Farer, Baltic, Halios, Nodus, Islander, San Martin) runs a public affiliate program that we could verify, so every buy button on a brand guide is a plain link to the maker's product page and pays us nothing.

Programs we may join for the mainstream watches on the bracket lists, and will list here when live: Amazon Associates (Seiko, Orient, Casio, Timex, Citizen; 4% on watches per Amazon's published rate card), Windup Watch Shop through Kutoku (stocks Islander, Spinnaker, Boldr and some Formex), and Ashford through CJ. As of the check date none of these tags is live on any link.

What a commission does not do

  • It does not move a watch up or down a list. Order is set by the spec sheet against the bracket.
  • It does not add a watch to a list. Several brands on this site have no affiliate program at all.
  • It does not change a price we print. Prices are the maker's list price on the check date.

Buy links carry rel="sponsored" so that search engines treat them as paid, as Google's guidelines ask.
