Christopher Ward is not a microbrand. It is a small brand of about 300 staff, selling direct from christopherward.com, and it is on this site for a plain reason: it holds the search results the microbrands here compete for. A buyer weighing a Lorier, a Baltic or a Traska will be shown a Trident on the same page of results, and the comparison should be made on numbers rather than on which company is smaller. The site sets its prices in sterling and carries a currency selector; where a dollar figure appears on this page it is the price christopherward.com showed a US visitor on 19 September 2026, and the sterling figure beside it is what the same page showed from the UK. Neither is converted.
Three things the spec sheets settle. The movement is Sellita throughout: SW200-1 in the Tridents, the Dune Aeolian and the steel Twelves, SW200-2 Power+ in the 2026 Sealander Automatic, SW330-2 in both GMTs, a COSC-certified SW200-1 in the bronze Dune, and the FS01 in the Bel Canto, which is an SW200-1 carrying a chiming module. Lug width is 20 mm on every 38, 39 and 40 mm case, 22 mm on the 42 mm Trident, and not applicable on the Twelve, whose bracelet is integrated. Water resistance runs in 3 tiers, 300 m on the Tridents, 150 m on the Sealanders and Dunes, 100 m on the Twelve; the Bel Canto and titanium Twelve listings give no rating. Crystals are sapphire with anti-reflective coating, box sapphire on the two Dunes, and the lume where stated is Super-LumiNova Grade X1 BL C1.
Two catalogue notes. The C65 Trident Diver and the C65 Aquitaine GMT were not on christopherward.com on 19 September, leaving the Dune Aeolian, the Cranwell and Sandhurst Series 2 and the Super Compressor Elite as the C65 line; both are treated as discontinued and are not in the table. The bronze Dune COSC is out of stock at a reduced price and is listed here as the clearance line it is. Six of the 13 were on pre-order at check, the Sealander Automatic for end October 2026, so the price you see is a price you wait for.
Read the table by family. C60 Trident Pro 300 is the diver, 3 sizes at 300 m with a 120-click ceramic bezel, and the Trident GMT 300 is the same case with an SW330-2 and a 24-hour bezel. C63 Sealander is the Trident with a fixed bezel at 150 m, in a three-hand and a GMT. C65 Dune is the 38 mm sport watch under a box crystal, in steel and in bronze. The Twelve is the integrated-bracelet line, 3 steel sizes at one price and one thickness of 9.95 mm, plus a titanium 40. The Bel Canto stands alone: a titanium dress watch that strikes the hour, at 3 times the price of anything else on the page.
The cheapest Christopher Ward on the page at $934, and the one you cannot order: the site showed it reduced from £985 to £689 and out of stock at check, so treat it as a clearance line rather than a model. What the money would buy is a bronze 38 mm case, 43.6 mm lug to lug, 11.9 mm thick, 150 m, box sapphire, and the only COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1 in the range. The steel Dune Aeolian below is the same case 0.2 mm thinner for $1,335 without the certificate. Bronze at 150 m is a patina watch; the certificate is what the $934 was for.

The Trident to buy at $1,320 (£960 on bracelet) if 40 mm is your size, and the watch every microbrand diver on this site is priced against. Sellita SW200-1, 47.45 mm lug to lug, 11.3 mm thick, 300 m, a 120-click ceramic bezel, Grade X1 lume, 20 mm lugs. Pre-order at check. The Tissot Seastar 1000 40 mm gives 300 m on a Powermatic 80 for $875 at 12.48 mm thick; the Yema Superman Heritage 39 runs the same SW200-1 at $1,499 and 11.3 mm. The Trident is thinner than the Tissot by 1.18 mm and cheaper than the Yema by $179, and the ceramic bezel is the rest of the $445 over the Tissot.
Same $1,320 (£960), same SW200-1, same 300 m, in a 42 mm case that was in stock when the 40 mm was on pre-order. 49.3 mm lug to lug, 11.5 mm thick, and 22 mm lugs where the rest of the range takes 20 mm, so straps do not cross over from the other Tridents. Against the 40 mm it adds 1.85 mm of lug to lug for nothing in price; against the Marathon GSAR at $2,000 (41 mm, 48 mm lug to lug, 14 mm thick, 300 m, SW200-1) it is 2.5 mm thinner and $680 cheaper. Buy this over the 40 for a wrist over 7.25 inches; below that the 40 carries the same spec with less overhang.
The 38 mm sport watch at $1,335 (£970 on bracelet, £795 to £805 on a strap), and the shortest steel case Christopher Ward makes outside the Twelve: 43.6 mm lug to lug, 11.7 mm thick, 150 m, box sapphire, Sellita SW200-1, 20 mm lugs. Against the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 38 at $845 (47 mm lug to lug, 11 mm thick, 100 m) the Dune is 3.4 mm shorter and rated 50 m deeper for $490 more. The Trident Pro 300 38 mm is $40 more with a rotating bezel and 300 m at 45 mm lug to lug. Buy the Dune for the 43.6 mm and the box crystal; the Trident is the tool.
The small Trident at $1,375 (£1,000 on bracelet), $55 more than the 40 and 42 for 2 mm less case: 45 mm lug to lug, 11.0 mm thick, 300 m, SW200-1, ceramic bezel, pre-order at check. The number that matters is 45 mm, which is 2.45 mm shorter than the 40 and puts a 300 m ceramic-bezel diver on a 6.5 inch wrist. The Baltic Aquascaphe MK2 37 mm gives 200 m on a Miyota 9039 at the same 45 mm for €630; the Lorier Neptune is 39 mm, 46 mm lug to lug, 200 m, at $699. The Trident is the Swiss one at 300 m, and $676 over the Lorier is the price of that.
The Sealander is the Trident without the bezel, at $1,375 (£1,015 on bracelet), on pre-order for end October 2026: 39 mm, 45 mm lug to lug, 10.9 mm thick, 150 m, and the Sellita SW200-2 Power+ where the rest of the three-handers keep the SW200-1. That 2026 movement change is the reason to take it over the Trident 38 at the same money if the bezel does no work for you. The Formex Essence 39 COSC is the same idea at 10 mm thick and 100 m for $1,980; the Halios Fairwind at $775 runs the SW200-1 at 200 m and 48 mm lug to lug. The Sealander is the shortest case of the three.
The fixed-bezel GMT at $1,395 (£1,025 on vulcanised rubber; the 36 mm and 42 mm on bracelet are £1,190), and the cheaper of the two Sellita SW330-2 watches in the range: 39 mm, 45 mm lug to lug, 11.3 mm thick, 150 m, with the 24-hour scale on the rehaut. The 42 mm reference runs 48.5 mm lug to lug at the same 11.3 mm. Farer's Lander IV is the same movement, 39.5 mm, 45 mm lug to lug, 100 m, at $1,575 and unavailable until spring 2027; Traska's Venturer is a Miyota 9075 at $950. The Sealander GMT costs $180 less than the Farer and is rated 50 m deeper.

The smallest Twelve at $1,495 (£1,095 on the integrated bracelet, £885 on rubber): 36 mm, 40.8 mm lug to lug, 9.95 mm thick, 100 m, Sellita SW200-1, sapphire with AR. The three steel Twelves share one price and one thickness, so the choice between them is lug to lug alone: 40.8, 43.3 or 44.5 mm. At 40.8 mm this is the shortest watch on the page and the one for a wrist under 6.5 inches. The Tissot PRX 40 at $850 is the integrated-bracelet comparison, 10.93 mm thick and 4 mm wider, and Tissot publishes no lug to lug. The Twelve costs $645 more and is 0.98 mm thinner.
The middle Twelve at the same $1,495 (£1,095): 38 mm, 43.3 mm lug to lug, 9.95 mm thick, 100 m, SW200-1. On the sheet it splits its siblings almost evenly, 2.5 mm longer than the 36 and 1.2 mm shorter than the 40. The Dune Aeolian is the in-house alternative at 38 mm for $160 less, 0.3 mm longer, 1.75 mm thicker, with 150 m and a box crystal in place of the integrated bracelet. The 38 is the Twelve for a 6.5 to 7 inch wrist; go to the 40 only if 44.5 mm sits inside the wrist, since nothing else changes.
The largest steel Twelve at $1,495 (£1,095), on pre-order at check: 40 mm, 44.5 mm lug to lug, 9.95 mm thick, 100 m, SW200-1. Two things are listed beside it that this page holds no specs for, the Twelve 660 at 38 mm for £1,480 and the titanium 40 at £1,680, which is the $2,295 watch below. Against the Sealander Automatic at $120 less the Twelve gives up 50 m, the SW200-2 Power+ and the strap freedom of a 20 mm lug, and gains 0.95 mm of thinness and the bracelet. The Formex Essence 41 at $1,890 is the integrated rival on a COSC SW200-2 Power+, 46.5 mm lug to lug, 10.6 mm thick.
The GMT with a bezel, at $1,675 (£1,215 on bracelet, £1,050 on rubber): 40 mm, 47.5 mm lug to lug, 11.7 mm thick, 300 m, Sellita SW330-2 with 56 hours of reserve, a bidirectional 24-hour ceramic insert, 20 mm lugs. Pre-order at check. Over the Sealander GMT the $280 buys the rotating bezel, 150 m more and 2.5 mm of lug to lug. Farer's Nevada is the same SW330-2 with a sapphire 24-hour bezel at $1,575, 200 m, 44.8 mm lug to lug, 12.5 mm thick. Steinhart's Ocean GMT 39 is the same movement at €850 on a 46.78 mm case, 12.5 mm thick. The Trident is the thinnest of the three and the only one rated 300 m.

The titanium Twelve at $2,295 on its titanium bracelet, $800 over the steel 40, and the one this page cannot measure: the listing gives the 12-sided bezel and two dials, Astral Blue and Nebula Purple, but no lug to lug, thickness or water rating. The movement is the range's SW200-1. Beside it Christopher Ward lists a titanium Pic'n'Mix 36 mm at $2,350 and the Twelve X in titanium at $5,895. The Formex Essence Leggera 41 at $1,995 is the light-case alternative with published numbers, 46.4 mm lug to lug, 11 mm thick, a 40 g case, COSC. Until the Twelve's page yields its figures, the Formex is the one you can size.

The most expensive Christopher Ward at $4,995 on leather or $5,340 on the Bader bracelet, and the only one bought for a complication: the FS01 is a Sellita SW200-1 base carrying a sonnerie au passage module that strikes once as each hour passes. 41 mm in grade 5 titanium, in Azzurro, Oro, Verde and Argento, with a Negroni limited edition. The listing gives no lug to lug, thickness or water resistance, and this page does not guess. The original non-Classic Bel Canto launched at $3,595 by the brand's own note; no current listing of it was found. At $4,995 the Grand Seiko SBGW301 hand-wound is $5 more and chimes nothing.
Christopher Ward is for the buyer who wants a Sellita movement and a ceramic bezel with every dimension published, from a company large enough to still be there when the watch needs a service, and who has $1,320 to $1,675 to spend.
