Charlie Paris assembles its watches in a Paris workshop and puts a different movement in each line: a Seiko VK64 at $645, a Miyota 82S7 at $695, a Seiko NH34 GMT at $895, a Soprod P024 at $1,745 and a Soprod C105 moonphase at $2,445. Every model has a 20 mm lug and a tool-free strap change, and the two Alliances share one 39.5 mm case 9 mm thick.

Charlie Paris was founded in 2014 by two childhood friends, Ambroise Parlos and Adrien Sanglé-Ferrière, and is based in the 6th arrondissement with two boutiques, on the rue Saint-André des Arts and the rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, that take in-store pickup for web orders. The about page and every product page say the watches are designed and hand-assembled by the brand's watchmakers in its Paris workshop. The range runs from EUR 145 quartz lines (Sully, Monceau, Aurore, not in this table) to the EUR 1,795 moonphase, with a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects. The site shows US buyers dollar prices, which are the figures in the table; the euro figure at home is in each entry.
Three things the spec sheets settle. Every model is 316L steel under sapphire, domed on all but the Initial, with a 20 mm lug and a tool-free strap system, and every model but the Initial states its lume. The cases run 39 to 40.5 mm and 45 to 47.5 mm lug-to-lug. Water resistance is where the lines differ: 30 m on the Initial and the Phase de Lune, 100 m on the GR and the Alliance Saphir, 300 m on the Concordia. The thickness figures on the GR, Alliance and Concordia pages exclude the crystal, and the Concordia gives both, 13.5 mm with its two crystals and 11.75 mm without.
The movement is the ladder, and nothing on it is Swiss-assembled: a Seiko mecaquartz, a Miyota open-heart automatic, a Seiko GMT and two Soprods, all put together in Paris. On 19 September 2026 the Phase de Lune was out of stock in all three dials and the Concordia GMT was on pre-order for early November; the other three could be bought. A buyer who wants the Soprod and the 100 m should look at the Alliance Saphir and stop there.

Read the table by movement, since that is what each $250 to $700 step buys. The GR is the quartz chronograph; the Initial is the entry automatic; the Concordia is the tool watch and the only one over 100 m; the two Alliances are one 39.5 mm case with a Soprod three-hander in the Saphir and a Soprod moonphase in the Phase de Lune. Colour variants are the same price within a line, and the entries give the euro figures on strap and bracelet where the feed differs.
The Paris-assembled mecaquartz at $645, EUR 425 on steel at home (375 on nylon): a Seiko VK64, 39 mm, 45 mm lug-to-lug, 10.9 mm thick without the crystal, 100 m, domed sapphire with AR, Berlaglow lume, tool-free straps at 20 mm. The GRX variants are EUR 395. It carries twice the water rating of Furlan Marri's Mechaquartz at $725 on the same VK64, in a case 1 mm larger and 1 mm shorter. Dan Henry's 1964 is $310 on a VK63 at 38 mm and Brew's Super Metric $475 at 36 mm; neither is assembled in Paris, and the $170 to $335 over them is the workshop and the 100 m.
The open-heart at $695, EUR 445 at home (485 on the bracelet): a Citizen Miyota 82S7 automatic with 21 jewels and 40 hours, in a 40 mm case, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 10.2 mm thick, 30 m, sapphire with AR and a transparent back, tool-free straps. Lume is not stated. It is the cheapest automatic in the range and, at 30 m, one for a desk rather than a pool. Hamilton's Jazzmaster Open Heart is $1,245 and Tissot's Gentleman Open Heart $1,025 for the same idea on an 80-hour Swiss movement; the Charlie Paris is $330 to $550 less on a 40-hour Miyota, and the only one of the three assembled by the company selling it.

The tool watch, and the only Charlie Paris over 100 m: 300 m, 40.5 mm, 47.5 mm lug-to-lug, 13.5 mm thick with the crystals and 11.75 mm without, a 3 mm domed sapphire over a fixed 24-hour flange, screw-down back. The Seiko NH34 is a caller GMT at 21,600 vph with 41 hours: the 24-hour hand sets independently, the local hour does not jump. $895 to US buyers, EUR 695 on the bracelet (645 on strap); pre-order for early November. Nodus's Sector II GMT is $575 on the same NH34 at 38 mm; Lorier's Hyperion is $799 on a Miyota 9075 true GMT at 39 mm. The Concordia's 300 m and Paris assembly are what the extra buys.

The Swiss-movement Alliance at $1,745, EUR 1,075 on the bracelet at home (995 on strap): a Soprod P024 automatic, 25 jewels, 4 Hz, under a blue smoked sapphire glass dial and a custom double-domed sapphire, 39.5 mm, 46.5 mm lug-to-lug, 9 mm thick without the crystal, 100 m, tool-free straps. The plain Alliance without the glass dial is EUR 895 to 975. At 9 mm it is the thinnest 100 m watch in the range. Nivada Grenchen's Super Antarctic runs the same P024 at $1,145, 38 mm and 12 mm; Christopher Ward's Twelve 38 is $1,495 at 9.95 mm on a Sellita. The Charlie Paris is dearer than both, thinner than both, and the dial is sapphire.
The top of the range at $2,445, EUR 1,795 at home, and out of stock in Blanc, Sauge and Bleu on 19 September 2026: a Soprod C105 automatic with a perpetual moonphase the page rates accurate for 122 years, in the Alliance case, 39.5 mm, 46.5 mm lug-to-lug, 9 mm thick, double-domed sapphire, 30 m. Against the Alliance Saphir it is the same case with a moonphase in place of 70 m of water resistance, for $700 more. Farer's Stratton Moonphase is $2,075 on a hand-wound Sellita SW288-1 at 38.5 mm and 11.5 mm; Kurono Tokyo's Calendrier SBR is $2,380 for a Miyota triple calendar without a moon. The Charlie Paris is the automatic moonphase at 9 mm.
Charlie Paris is for the buyer who wants a watch put together in Paris by the company selling it, a boutique to walk into, and a strap system that changes without tools, at 39 to 40.5 mm and 45 to 47.5 mm lug-to-lug, which is an average wrist's range and not a small one. Look elsewhere if you want Swiss Made, since the assembly is French and the calibres Japanese and Swiss, and Serica and Formex do the whole thing in Switzerland from $1,290; if you want a true GMT whose local hour jumps, since the Concordia's NH34 is a caller and Lorier, Nodus and Vaer sell a Miyota 9075 for $799 to $989; or if you want a rotating bezel on a diver, since the Concordia's 300 m comes with a fixed flange and Vaer's D5 is $729 with 200 m and a bezel.

At $645 the GR is the dearest Seiko mecaquartz chronograph in this data bar Furlan Marri's at $725 and Unimatic's at $840, and the only one of those three rated to 100 m. At $895 the Concordia is priced above every NH34 caller GMT here, Nodus's Sector II at $575, Spinnaker's Croft 39 at $445, and level with the true GMTs from Lorier at $799 and Nodus's Contrail at $900; its case for the money is 300 m and the workshop. At $1,745 the Alliance Saphir sits above Nivada's Super Antarctic on the same Soprod P024 at $1,145, Christopher Ward's Twelve 38 at $1,495 and Serica's 6190 at $1,290 with a COSC certificate, and its answer is 9 mm and a glass dial.
