Traska sells 7 lines from a $630 34.5 mm Commuter to a $950 true GMT, every one on a Miyota 9-series in a case the brand hardens by a process it does not name. What changed this year is the Venturer GMT, redesigned as Ref. 4217; what has not changed is that the brand still does not say where any of them is assembled.

Traska is a Jacksonville Beach, Florida brand, founded in 2018, selling direct from traskawatch.com with a short list of stockists (WatchPoint in Australia is one) and a 3-year transferable warranty that registers itself from the order number. Two things a buyer should know once. The brand does not state where its watches are assembled on any page checked, About, product or warranty, and third-party claims conflict, so anyone who needs a stated assembly site should look at Vaer or Nodus instead. And the case hardening, to roughly 1200 HV by what the brand calls a proprietary process, is the brand's own figure with no method behind it: a claim to weigh, not a specification to compare. Every watch showed as unavailable in the storefront data on the check date, so the prices here are list prices, not proof of stock.
Three things the spec sheets settle. Every case is 316L steel, hardened as above, and every crystal is a box sapphire with anti-reflective coating. Water resistance is 100 m on the Commuter and Summiteer, 150 m on the two dual-crown watches (Seafarer, Venturer GMT) and 200 m on the Freediver. Lug width is 20 mm on 5 of the 7 lines; the Commuter 34 takes 19 mm and the Venturer GMT 21 mm. Every model ships on a tapered 316L bracelet with a quick-adjust clasp, so there is no strap-versus-bracelet sum to do.
One reading note on thickness. Traska publishes dimensions as diagrams that give the case height and the height with the crystal separately, and the table's thickness column mixes the two: 8.75 mm is the bare case on the Commuter 34, 36 and 38 and the Summiteer 38, and 10.5 mm is those three larger cases with the crystal on. The entries give both where the diagram does, and a buyer comparing against a brand that quotes one number should compare like with like.

Read the table by movement, because there are only three. The Miyota 9039 (no date) runs the Commuter 34, Seafarer and Summiteer 38; the Commuter 36, Commuter 38 and Freediver come as a 9039 without a date or a Miyota 9015 with one, at the same price. The Venturer GMT runs the Miyota 9075, a true GMT whose local hour jumps independently, and it is the only watch over $800. The table also carries the Chronograph on the Seiko NE86, $1,650, because it is in the data set; the brand's page says it is gone for now and returning later this year, so it has no entry below.

The Traska for the smallest wrist, at $630: 34.5 mm, 41.5 mm lug-to-lug, 8.75 mm case height (the diagram gives no figure with the crystal), 19 mm lugs, Miyota 9039, 100 m, on a 19 to 15 mm tapered bracelet. Stone dials in onyx, malachite and lapis are $650. Against the Commuter 36 it is 2 mm smaller across, 2.5 mm shorter and $60 less, and it gives up the date option and the 20 mm lug the rest of the range shares, which matters if you already own straps. The alternative outside the house is the Lorier Falcon at $699 in 36 mm; inside it, the Commuter 36 at $690. Buy this one for 41.5 mm and nothing else.

The thinnest dive-rated Traska and the pick over the Freediver if 46 mm lug-to-lug matters more than an external bezel: $665, third generation as Ref. 5223, 38.5 mm, 9.5 mm case (11.3 mm with the crystal), 150 m, Miyota 9039. The second crown turns an internal minute bezel, the outer bezel is fixed steel, and the BGW9 lume runs on the inner ring as well as the hands. Against the Freediver it is 1 mm thinner at the case, 2 mm shorter and $70 less, for 50 m less water resistance. The Lorier Neptune at $699 is 39 mm and 46 mm with an external bezel, $34 more and not hardened. The compressor style is the reason to choose it.

The Commuter to buy if 44 mm lug-to-lug is the limit and you want a date: $690, 36.5 mm, 8.75 mm case (10.5 mm with the crystal), 20 mm lugs, 100 m, with a 9039 no-date or a 9015 date at the same price. Stone dials are $710. The 20 to 16 mm bracelet has a six-position quick-adjust clasp. Against the Commuter 38 the case is 2 mm smaller and 2 mm shorter for $10 less, on the same thickness and the same movement options, so the choice between them is wrist and nothing else. The Lorier Falcon at $699 is 36 mm, 44 mm and 8.8 mm, $9 more, unhardened and without the date.

The model the brand is known for, and at $735 the watch the bracket is measured against: 7th generation as Ref. 1187, 40.5 mm, 48 mm lug-to-lug, 10.5 mm case (11.9 mm with the crystal), 20 mm lugs, 200 m, 9039 or 9015, under a unidirectional 120-click bezel with a lumed ceramic insert. Mint Green lists at $685. It is the longest case in the range by 1.9 mm and the only 200 m rating. The true GMT at $950, redesigned for 2026 as Ref. 4217: 38.5 mm, 46.1 mm lug-to-lug, 10.15 mm case (12.1 mm with the crystal), 21 mm lugs, 150 m, Miyota 9075, meteorite dials $965 to $975. Two screw-down crowns; the one at 10 o'clock turns an internal 24-hour bezel. The local hour jumps in 1-hour steps while the 24-hour hand holds home time. It shares the Seafarer's dual-crown size and costs $285 more for the movement and the ring. The Nodus Contrail at $900 and Vaer G5 at $989 run the same 9075; the Lorier Hyperion at $799 does it for $151 less at 100 m. The 21 mm lug is the odd one out; budget for straps.
Traska is for a buyer who wants a hardened case, a bracelet in the box and a Miyota 9-series between $630 and $950 without choosing among them, since every line has all three. On wrist the range is compact: nothing but the Freediver passes 46.1 mm lug-to-lug, and the Commuter 34 at 41.5 mm and Commuter 36 at 44 mm are among the shortest cases on this site, which suits wrists under 6.5 inches. Look elsewhere if you need a stated assembly location, which Vaer and Nodus give and Traska does not; if you want a Swiss movement, which Halios and Formex give at more money; or if you want a chronograph this month, which the brand has withdrawn for now.

At $950 the Venturer GMT is priced against the Nodus Contrail ($900, 40.5 mm, 46.6 mm, 200 m) and the Vaer G5 ($989, 39 mm, 45.83 mm, 200 m), both on the same Miyota 9075; the Lorier Hyperion ($799) undercuts all three at 100 m.
