Halios is a Vancouver brand, founded in 2009 by Jason Lim. It states that its watches are assembled, tested and shipped from Vancouver, with manufacturing partners in Asia, Switzerland, Germany and the US, and sells from its own site with a 24-month international warranty and a 7-day inspection period. It does not hold stock. Each model is made in a production batch, pre-orders open for that batch on the product page, and once the batch is allocated the page reads as unavailable until the next one; the consequence for the buyer is a wait measured in months, not days. On 19 September 2026 the Seaforth IV page said the December/January batch pre-orders were closed, with delivery estimated at late December 2026 or early January 2027, and the Universa II pages said the watch was in production, scheduled for completion in Q1 2027, with pre-orders opening soon. Nothing was orderable at check, which is the ordinary state of a Halios product page. The prices below are the list prices those pages showed for the next batch.
The spec sheets settle three things across the 4 current models. Lug width is 20 mm on all of them and the crystal is a double-domed sapphire with AR coating on all of them. Every movement is a no-date Sellita: the SW200-2 with a stated 65-hour reserve in the Seaforth, the SW300-1 with a stated 56-hour reserve in the Universa. The rest splits by family. The Seaforth IV is titanium, 200 m, 46.5 mm lug to lug at 40 or 41 mm across, with Globolight XP markers on the dial; the Universa II is stainless steel (grade not stated), 100 m, and 48 mm lug to lug at 38 mm across, which is long for the diameter. Both use Super-LumiNova C3 X1.
What is not in the entries. The Fairwind (Series I, 39 mm, $775 on bracelet per a 2021 owner's review) and the Puck II (48 mm lugless case, 500 m, $675 in a 2020 prototype review) are not on the brand site today; the Upcoming page says a Fairwind Series II is planned for the very end of 2026. That page also lists a hand-wound chronograph on the Sellita SW510 M as a limited test run and an N-10 thermocompensated quartz line as in planning, neither with a spec or a price. Steel and bronze Seaforths are not in the current catalogue; the only Seaforth IV page lists titanium as the sole case material. If the watch is wanted inside 2026, the Seaforth is the only one of the 4 with a delivery date this year, and that batch is closed.

Read the table as two families with two versions each. The Seaforth IV Titanium comes with a fixed bezel at 40 mm ($765 on rubber, $930 with the titanium bracelet) or a rotating bezel at 41 mm ($805 on rubber, $970 with the bracelet), and the rotating bezel is offered with either an elapsed-time or a 12-hour scale at the same price; both take the same 6 dials. The Halios to buy at $765 if the bezel need not turn: 40 mm titanium, 46.5 mm lug to lug, 12.4 mm thick, 200 m, Sellita SW200-2 no-date with a stated 65-hour reserve, on the rubber strap alone, or $930 with the titanium bracelet and the rubber. Globolight XP markers with Super-LumiNova C3 X1, 6 dials from Sunburst Blue to O.W.W.W. Pink. The December/January batch was closed at check. The alternative for $40 more is the rotating-bezel version, 1 mm larger across on the same lug to lug and thickness; the alternative for $36 less is the Vaer D5 at $729, steel, Miyota 9015. The Halios diver proper, at $805 on rubber or $970 with the titanium bracelet, and the one to order with the 12-hour scale if you travel, since that turns the bezel into a second-zone reference without a GMT movement. 41 mm titanium, 46.5 mm lug to lug, 12.4 mm thick, 200 m, a unidirectional 120-click bezel with a sapphire insert, Sellita SW200-2 no-date; elapsed-time or 12-hour scale at the same price, the same 6 dials. Same closed batch, same delivery estimate. The alternative at €730 is Baltic's Aquascaphe Titanium, 300 m, 0.9 mm thicker, on a Miyota 9039. The trade is $40 over the fixed bezel for a bezel that does something.

The Universa II is a 38 mm watch with the lug to lug of a 40 mm one, and that is the decision: 48 mm lug to lug, 11.8 mm thick, 100 m, Sellita SW300-1 no-date with a stated 56-hour reserve, on a steel bracelet, $995, in 5N Gold, Galvanic Blue or a dial yet to be announced. In production at check for Q1 2027, pre-orders opening soon. Against the Seaforth IV it is 0.6 mm thinner and 1.5 mm longer on a dial 2 to 3 mm smaller. The alternative at $1,220 is the Farer Resolute III, 39 mm, 45 mm lug to lug, with no batch notice on its page. The trade is the wrist; measure it first.

The dial is the whole $100: the Vitreous Enamel Universa II is the standard watch, 38 mm, 48 mm lug to lug, 11.8 mm, 100 m, Sellita SW300-1, with a lead-free vitreous enamel dial fired on a 999 silver base and the lume set in champlevé reservoirs, at $1,095. Four dials: Sapphire, Turquoise, Jessamine, Mercury. Same Q1 2027 schedule. It is the most expensive Halios and the only one over $1,000, which keeps it off the under-$1,000 lists on this site. The alternative for $100 less is the standard Universa II in 5N Gold or Galvanic Blue. The trade is $100 for a fired dial, and nothing else on the sheet moves.
Halios is for the buyer who wants a titanium 200 m watch on a Swiss movement under $1,000, without a date, and who can wait for a batch; all 4 current models are no-date. The Seaforth IV at 46.5 mm lug to lug fits the 6.5 to 7.5 inch wrist that most 40 mm divers fit; the Universa II at 48 mm wants the same wrist despite its 38 mm dial. Look elsewhere if you need a watch this month, since nothing was orderable at check and the next deliveries are late December 2026 and Q1 2027, and the Farer Resolute III at $1,220 and Serica 6190 at $1,290 carried no batch notice; if you want a steel Seaforth, which the current page does not offer; or if you want a date, which no Halios has.

Are Halios watches Swiss?
