RZE watches, model by model

RZE sells 6 current models, $279 for a titanium digital to $779 for an enamel-dial automatic, and every case is titanium with the maker's UltraHex hardening. Four of the 6 rows showed sold out, out of stock or pre-order at check, so the price ladder is also a waiting list.

RZE is a Singapore brand founded in 2020, with a team in Singapore and Malaysia, selling direct from rzewatches.com in USD with a region switch, and through stockists that include First Class Watches in the UK. Every case is titanium, and every case carries what the maker calls UltraHex, a hardening treatment it rates at about 1,200 Hv; that is the maker's figure and this page reports it as a claim. Assembly is not stated on the brand pages beyond the tagline "Assembled for adventure". The warranty is 24 months, and the UTD-8000's digital module carries a lifetime guarantee, which is longer than the watch around it.

Three things the spec sheets settle. Every model has a 20 mm lug and a sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective coating, so straps and crystals are the same question across the range. Water resistance is 100 m on the 5 analogue models and 200 m on the UTD-8000. Thickness runs from 9.5 mm on the Resolute 36 to 13.4 mm on the digital, with the 3 automatics on Miyota's 9000 series between 9.5 mm and 12 mm. Stock at check: the Fortitude GMT sold out, the Resolute 36 out of stock, the Resolute Pro White Enamel out of stock with 4 other dials in stock on the feed, and the UTD-8000 on pre-order with shipping stated as early September 2026.

Read the table by movement, of which there are 5 across 6 watches. Seiko's NH35A runs the Valour 38, the entry automatic. Miyota runs the rest of the mechanicals: the 82S0 in the Resolute Type A, behind a sapphire display back; the 9039 in the Resolute 36, thin and no-date; the 90S5 in the Resolute Pro, from the same 9000 family; and the 9075 in the Fortitude, a true GMT whose local hour jumps in 1-hour steps while the 24-hour hand holds home time. The UTD-8000 is a custom digital module on a CR2032 the maker rates at 3 years and more. The price ladder follows the movement up to $499, then follows the dial and the case finish.

The cheapest RZE and the only digital: $279 in BK, on pre-order at check with shipping stated as early September 2026, 42 mm case under a 43 mm bezel, 49.5 mm lug-to-lug, 13.4 mm thick, 200 m, sapphire, grade 2 titanium with UltraHex, shock resistant, on an elasticised fabric strap with a bracelet option; the CKT and CKO variants are $379. The module is RZE's own, on a CR2032 the maker rates at 3 years and more, with a lifetime guarantee on the module itself. Casio's G-Shock DW5600 at $99.95 is the digital for a third of the money, 200 m in resin at 48.9 mm; the RZE's $179 buys titanium, sapphire and the guarantee, and 0.6 mm more length.

Whistler White, Vervain Blue and Slate Grey are the same price. Boldr's Venture at $299 is the titanium field automatic for $100 less, 38 mm by 44 mm and 200 m on an NH38A, without a published thickness. The Valour gives the hardening, the 11 mm and the bracelet option; the Boldr gives 100 m more water and keeps $100.

The pilot's watch of the range at $499: 39.5 mm, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 11.5 mm thick, 100 m, Miyota 82S0 automatic behind a sapphire display back, UltraHex titanium, lume on the chapter ring, on black TecTuff leather with a Hex-Link titanium bracelet optional. Medallion Yellow and Polaris White are the same price. The 82S0 is from the older Miyota 8200 family rather than the 9000 series in the dearer Resolutes, and the $190 step up to the Resolute 36 is mostly that movement and 2 mm of thickness. Nodus's Sector II Pilot at $550 is the steel alternative, 38 mm by 47 mm with a day-date on a Seiko NH36; the RZE is titanium, 1 mm shorter and $51 less.

The thinnest RZE and the one for a small wrist, out of stock at check: $689, 36 mm, 42.3 mm lug-to-lug, 9.5 mm thick, 100 m, Miyota 9039, UltraHex titanium, on a titanium bracelet with the QUIKCLIQ deployant. At 42.3 mm it is the shortest automatic on this page by 2.7 mm and fits a 6-inch wrist. Lorier's Falcon at $699 is 36 mm by 44 mm and 8.8 mm on the same 9039 in steel; Traska's Commuter 36 at $690 is 36.5 mm by 44 mm and 10.5 mm in hardened steel. The RZE is 1.7 mm shorter than either and the only titanium of the 3; the Lorier is 0.7 mm thinner.

The RZE with the movement that justifies the money, sold out at check: $699 (or $719 with a pouch), 41 mm, 47 mm lug-to-lug, 12 mm thick, 100 m, Miyota 9075 true GMT, sapphire with inner Super-AR, BGW9 sandwich dial, UltraHex titanium on a titanium bracelet with the QUIKCLIQ deployant. A true GMT jumps the local hour and holds home time on the 24-hour hand; the GMT list explains why that costs more than a caller. Islander's Republic Traveler at $595 runs the same 9075 in steel with 200 m; Lorier's Hyperion at $799 is 39 mm by 46 mm and 10.7 mm. The RZE is the titanium one and, at check, the one you cannot buy.

The most expensive RZE, and the one where the dial is the price: $779, 40 mm, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 10.5 mm thick, 100 m, Miyota 90S5, UltraHex titanium rated by the maker at about 1,200 Hv, on a titanium bracelet with QUIKCLIQ deployant and on-the-fly micro-adjust. The White Enamel is a heated-enamel dial and was out of stock at check; 4 other dials were in stock on the feed at the same price. Formex's Field Automatic 40 at $975 is the titanium field watch above it, 40 mm by 46.6 mm and 10.6 mm on a Sellita SW200-2 with 150 m; the RZE is $196 less for a Japanese movement and an enamel dial.

Who it is for

RZE is for the buyer who wants titanium at $399 to $779 with the hardening treatment named and a figure attached to it, and who has a 6-inch to 7.25-inch wrist: the Resolute 36 at 42.3 mm lug-to-lug and the Valour at 45 mm cover the small end, the Fortitude at 47 mm the large. Look elsewhere if you need the watch this month, since the Fortitude GMT and Resolute 36 were sold out and the UTD-8000 was on pre-order at check; if you want a Swiss movement in titanium, since the Formex Field Automatic 40 at $975 and the Halios Seaforth IV at $765 run Sellita; or if you want 200 m on an automatic, since every RZE automatic is 100 m and the San Martin SN0111-T at $389 is grade 5 titanium with 300 m.

Where it sits against the field

Under $500 the Valour 38 meets the Boldr Venture at $299 and the Nodus Sector II Field Titanium at $625, and sits between them on price, on water resistance (100 m against the Boldr's 200 m) and on published detail. At $689 to $699 the Resolute 36 and Fortitude are priced against Lorier's Falcon at $699 and Hyperion at $799 and Traska's Commuter 36 at $690, all steel, all Miyota 9000-series; RZE's answer is titanium and the hardening claim. At $779 the Resolute Pro undercuts the Formex Field Automatic 40 at $975 and the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 38 at $845, and gives up the Swiss calibre to do it.

Questions people ask

Where are RZE watches made?

RZE is a Singapore brand, founded in 2020, with its team in Singapore and Malaysia. Assembly is not stated on the brand pages beyond the tagline "Assembled for adventure", so this page names no country of assembly. Movements are Seiko (NH35A) and Miyota (82S0, 9039, 90S5, 9075), all Japanese, plus RZE's own UTD-8000 digital module.

What is UltraHex on an RZE watch?

The maker's name for its titanium hardening treatment, which RZE rates at about 1,200 Hv on the Resolute Pro page. Every current case carries it, and on the Resolute Pro the bracelet does too. The figure is the brand's own; our data holds no independent test, so treat it as a claim with a number rather than a certificate.

RZE Resolute vs Valour: what is the difference?

Movement, dial and $380. The Valour 38 is $399 on a Seiko NH35A, 38 mm, 45 mm lug-to-lug, 11 mm thick, on rubber. The Resolute Pro is $779 on a Miyota 90S5, 40 mm, 46 mm lug-to-lug, 10.5 mm thick, with a heated-enamel dial on a titanium bracelet. Both are UltraHex titanium, sapphire, 20 mm lug and 100 m.
